Using Siri with carplay, it no longer works right when texting. Example:
Siri: would you like to reply?
Me: No
Siri: No. Send it?
Me: No!
Siri: Done
Siri waits no time for a confirmation response either. If you say cancel it, or change it, it might send those phrases as a response too.
I’ve never had this problem before the IOS upgrade.

Report this to Apple...
iOS17's affect on Siri has been these forums. Question is: "Just how many people have actually reported this to Apple?"
So, do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue. Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this, if you don't report it to them.

You can change the time Siri waits for response time, but if it’s just not responding correctly you could try restarting your phone or a power reset.

It takes action with no response from me, although it is not set to automatically send messages.
I have reset several times to no avail.
The current wait time is set to default which has always been perfect.
