Transferring one app from old Mac to new Mac using Time Machine

I have some apps on my old iMac that I want to continue using on my new Mac mini. is it possible to restore/transfer those apps from my iMac Time Machine to my Mac mini? I don't want to transfer my entire applications folder. I want to transfer one or two apps only.
