Is there any way to convert a pdf file to excel spreadsheet on my MacBook Pro M2? The reason is that I need pop up a few tables from the PDF file. I was trying to do that with the Preview app, but excel (.xlsx) is not listed when exporting the PDF from Preview, only a few image formats are available (JPG/HEIC/PNG/TIFF).

I clicked the link from the reply and the browser's address bar shows https. It seems Adobe online service blocks access from certain countries.

If that doesn't do what you want, you could just select the table data in the PDF (one table at a time), copy it and then paste special into your Excel worksheet.
pdf is intended as a display format. It s not generally interchangeable. The tables included could in fact be pictures of tables, and not contain any number text at all. Results of conversion attempts will be wildly variable
if you need the underlying data, you should ask the preparer of the pdf for a spreadsheet file.
It is data analysis report and some of data is reusable for my search. I don't have the right to ask for the preparer to do that. It could be a time consuming process If I typed the data manually. That's why I am asking help to convert the pdf to excel automatically.
