OMG! Ths is SO frustrating! And I have looked online for the solution to no avail 😩
I export photos and videos to FCPX from a new folder that I have set up on my desktop. As I start adding them to my timeline line, some of them will upload to iCloud and then I get the "Missing Plug In" sign in its place.
HOW DO I STOP THAT FROM HAPPENING???

Either change where the files are on the computer. Put them in Movies or don’t use the iCloud Desktop or switch off Apple’s scam to put your Desktop and Documents in the cloud using their expensive storage space. Or get a nice big external SSD.
