Rearrange Email Folders in Apple Mail

It seems that my Email Folders are not in order because of faulty arrange by me.

Is there a simple solution to rearrange ?

Maybe via a temporary folder or my another Apple ID mail account - move there and return efficiently ?

Thanks.

It looks like your drag-and-drop action is not done consistently.

If you release the mouse button when you see the pin-like line between folders, you're just rearranging their order.

You can see in the next picture that the two folders just switched places.

You have to release the mouse button when the enclosing folder has a blue background.

Then it will be filed under it.

What do you mean exactly by "not in order"? Can you post a picture with explanations of what is wrong and how it should be right?

Press Shift-Command-5, frame a meaningful area, look in the options where the picture file will be saved (desktop by default), and press Enter. Add to the discussion with the second-last icon (mountain and moon) at the bottom of this text field.
