I currently use a 2018 iMac desktop. I was wondering if I bought an M2 mini if I could use the desktop as a monitor for the 2nd M2 mini. Switch easily between computers
I would like to hear from users with actual experience, rather than some vague answer like "should work"

Nope' those Mac's do not support Target Display Mode.
