Mobile coverage error

Hi all. I bought an iPhone 13 last week and I've been having an issue where instead of having the cellular/ mobile data symbol at the top right of the display, I get a caution symbol. When I go into the mobile/ cellular data settings section on my phone I get nothing but a message saying "An update is required to use mobile data on this iPhone". My phone is fully updated and I've tried resetting the network settings before but this hasn't permanently fixed the problem. Sometimes the error message goes away and my mobile data works as normal but the issue normally comes back within the next 12 hours or so.

I have an eSim with EE if that is relevant information.

I'd appreciate any help!

Thank you!

If you bought that model 13 brand new at an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Reseller, AND if you already contacted EE in order to check your eSIM configuration or carrier software update availability, you have 14 days (from the date of purchase) to return it and ask for a full refund.

Or, since your iPhone is still covered by warranty, I suggest that you make an appointment (*) and have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> https://locate.apple.com/choose-country-region . After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.

Regards

Giulio
