AirPort Extreme needs old firmware update to run apple utility.?
Which model of AirPort Extreme? The most recent model is 802.11ac, and was last sold in 2018.

If this AirPort Extreme is very old, you’ll need a very old version of OS X and the AirPort Utility for Graphite and Snow. That was still available for download, but the app won’t run on any recent macOS version.
