I can’t find my headphones and I went to check the location but the headphones no longer show up under my devices

About Use of Find My and AirPods:
Was Find My enabled for these through a device? The location shown in Fin My is only the location of the device that these were synced with was itself connected to the Internet. This is because AirPods are not Assigned their own IP Address. Go Here: Keep track of personal items using Find My - Apple Support
Secure your Info:
If these were in Find My, but no longer are, then someone may have access to your account. So, (A)verify your devices, and (B)modify your credentials. Open a new eMail address and use that for your Apple ID.
1. Verify your Devices:
Verify that all devices are logged in to your account, by using this link: Check your Apple ID Device List to See where you're Signed in - Apple Support
then...
2. Modify your Credentials:
Having been stollen, someone lily has your credentials. So, by all means, modifying them.
