Keyboard shortcut to SLEEP MacBook Air (with fingerprint touch power button) ?

Hi 👋🏻 To put my previous Macbooks to sleep, I’ve always used :

⌘ command  +  ⌥  option + power button

Now doing that on my new MacBook Air, with touch power button, logs me out.

I did search help pages, and found this below, it suggests the shortcut is correct..... but with an asterisk leading to say not for touch ID Macs  !??

Mac keyboard shortcuts - Apple Support

“Option–Command–Power button* or Option–Command–Media Eject :  Put your Mac to sleep.

But could anyone help how I can make that command mean SLEEP on my MacBook Air, not LOGOUT, please?

Thanks!
