How can I remove a Family sharing account holder?

I need some help. I was added to a family sharing account set up by my ex and although i have left from my end, he hasn’t disabled it from his end and I can see his face under my ‘settings’ on my iPhone and probs elsewhere and it’s really upsetting me. Is it possible to detach from the account?

Did you follow the instructions called Remove yourself from a family group in Leave Family Sharing - Apple Support?

Hi, yes I'm pretty sure I've done all of this but as he is the organiser, I can't seem to remove him.

Oh hang on, yep, he's gone, I thought I had removed myself but I hadn't. Thanks for your help ; )
