Menu bar icons inivisible divider
What is this weird invisible divider between menu bar icons?
Is this a feature or a bug? or some program running unbeknown to me?

See if it occurs while in Safe Mode.
It obviously not going to occur in safe mode. (It does not)

I don't know why it would be obvious but since it doesn't, that means it's being caused by a third-party app you have installed. Perhaps one that should be rendering an icon in the Menu Bar.
That's weird. In the video, are you clicking to drag this white space, or does it just move with the mouse?
Can you command-click that white space and drag it out of the menu bar?
I can drug it like any other other icon with command+click. It does not move with just the mouse.
Btw, some time ago, I wanted to make the icons collapse/expand and had experimented with some custom programs. But that was a long time ago and only now I have noticed this. I do not have any auto-start applications that might be the cause.

Can you then just command-drag it away from the menu bar to delete it?
I tried. The mouse turns into an interdiction sign when I get out of the menu bar.
