My Apple TV app on my TV is not allowing me to sign in although my Desktop, IPhone does allow me too. Anyway to fix?Hone

We were trying to watch Lessons in Chemistry recently. The episode would start then suddenly quit saying video playback is unavailable. After several instances of this, we decided to delete the app from our TV and re-in-stall. As a result, we were asked to sign in, but when we tried to do that we got the spins for several minutes. i am able to sign in to my Apple account on my other devices, but not my television. Advice?
