It’s possible but some may just be impossible. If There is no SIM Tray if it is made in the USA. But if there is a SIM Tray follow the instructions below.

1: Power off the iPhone by holding the volume up and power button for about 4 seconds and release.

2: Slide the “Slide To Power Off” slider right,

3: With a paper clip or the included SIM ejector tool, remove the SIM card tray.

4: The SIM card might have the IMEI.

If it was made in the USA, it might be impossible. Hope this helps,

Power down the phone.

Once you have confirmed the phone has no power, then use a SIM removal tool to remove the sim out the side of the phone, and get a magnefying glass to careful examine the SIM. Most SIMs will include the IMEI in very fine print on them. If you have a second phone that is compatible with the same carrier, you can put it in the other phone while power is off. The IMEI is in the settings of the phone.

Most Apple iPhones offer no user serviceable internal components other than the SIM on older phones that have physical SIMs. Keep in mind third party repair shops at aren't Apple Certified may:

  • improperly seal back the phone glass, and not use adhesive, leading to more water issues, and easier damage.
  • not have the proper machined screws, meaning for the likelihood of stripped screws in repair is much greater.
  • not know the proper sequence to replace parts leading to a malfunctioning phone.
  • not take as good precautions against data loss as Apple Certified repair shops.

Apple does offer do-it-yourself kits for certain phones:

Keep in mind follow all directions in these kits, and read all disclaimers and warranties. Ultimately it is your responsibility any mistakes you make.

This is a user to user forum with Apple moderation, and as such any communication with Apple provided with those kits needs to be on the channels listed on those kits.
