What the what!? What is the reason for a lack of split keyboard!? So I have to buy a keyboard case!? This is a thousand dollar device and lacks the ability to split the keyboard. I would be really interested to hear why this is the case. Could this please be updated?
Why? For reasons known only to Apple, the split-keyboard feature is only available to iPad models that have 10.9" or smaller screens.
Apple do invite submission of comments and feature requests via its Product Feedback portal:
If you would like Apple to consider introducing this feature to large-screen models of iPad in a future version of iPadOS, this would be the most appropriate channel through which to make a request.
