Will this cable (USB-C to USB Adaptor) work with Thunderbolt 4 ports?

Like the ones on 14" M3 Pro Macbook. The online description only indicates compatible with Thunderbolt 3.

The USB-C (Thunderbolt) ports on your Mac are "Swiss Army knife" type ports with "blades" for

  • USB
  • DisplayPort
  • Thunderbolt

They adapt to the needs of whatever device is plugged in.

I'm pretty sure that the adapter in question translates between USB-C (USB) and USB-A (USB). It doesn't speak, or care about, Thunderbolt. It just wants the USB signals that are also available on your Mac's "Thunderbolt" ports.
