I would like to know about how long an Apple Watch lasts.

My Apple Watch 6 is 3 years old. I am not having any problems with it. However, my third FitBit has quit after a little bit over a year. My first FitBit was replaced after 6 months. The second FitBit quit after a year. I waited for 5 years to buy the next one and it has now quit after 15 months. Their community help site seems to indicate that the most you can hope for is 50% discount on a new one.

The Apple Watch was a gift 3 years ago and is still working fine. I just want to get a feel for how long I can depend on the Watch before I have to start finding a new system once again.

Anyone have their Apple Watch that has lasted longer than 3 years?

My GPS only Apple Watch Series 4 is 5 years old.

My Battery Health is 90%

I wear it everyday.

I try not to abuse the battery by running it to zero. Rather, I put it on the charger every night.

I have avoided watchOS 10 for the time being, until all the new OS issues get resolved. I always wait awhile after a major release before upgrading.

My Wife has the Series 6 Cellular, and it is also doing well.

She gave her Series 4 GPS only to her brother, and it is still in use.
