High temperature an CPU use with Simulator after Sonoma 14.1 upgrade

I upgraded my Macbook Air M1 to Sonoma 14.1 and now when I run XCode and the iOS Simulator, the temperature and CPU usage increase sharply to the point that I am forced to close these applications because I am afraid of causing damage to the computer.

The CleanMyMac app all time crashes.

First, uninstall CMM by following the developer's instructions. CMM is most likely the source of the problem. CMM has been implicated in many different types of system issues over the years.

If you have any other anti-virus, cleaning/optimizer apps, or third party security software installed, then uninstall them as well by following the developer's instructions. None of these types of apps are needed on a Mac and they usually cause more problems than they solve.
