Assistive Access on Iphone XS

Hi everyone,

I have found out today about Assistive Access feature on IOS 17. It is very useful especially for service operation, when you leave the IPhone in service and you prefer to limit the accessibility to your personal information.

I have activated this feature, to see how it works and I have the following question: when in Assistive Access mode, how you can turn off the device? Is it possible and if it is, at restart, the device will restart in Assistive Access mode?

Looking forward to your reply.

Thank you.

Kind regards.

Dear Giulio,

Thank you for the details. I have checked the info in the support page and I haven't found the answers to my questions : how can I turn off the device in Assistive Access mode and at restart if the IPhone restarts in this mode. This possibility would be very useful for service procedure. Let's say you leave the device at service in Assistive Access mode, then the technician turns off the IPhone, performs the service procedure and restarts the device in the same Assistive Access mode for tests, to see if the IPhone works OK. In other words, you can leave the device at service in Assistive Access mode and after repair, you pick up the device in the same mode and you return the device to normal operating mode.

Looking forward to your reply/comments.

Thank you.
