numbers date format combined with text

Hi - If I use today() on its own the date is for example shown (in UK) as 10 November 2023. However when I combine

"Printed "&today()

it is displayed as

Printed 10/11/2023.

To include the word "Printed" with my preferred formatting I am currently entering:

"Printed "&DAY(TODAY())&" "&LEFT(MONTHNAME(MONTH(TODAY())),3)&" "&YEAR(TODAY())

The result I am trying to get is

Printed 10 Nov 2023

Is there an easier way? Thanks

Hi Stephen,

If you want to place a Date & Time in the Page Header or Page Footer of a Numbers Sheet, do Menu > File > Print (command P) to see Print Setup.

Hover the cursor over a page in Print Setup to see the Headers and Footers.

Click in any field of a Header or Footer.

Type "Printed "

Menu > Insert > Date & Time

Click on the Date & Time to change the display

Happy Numbering!

Ian.
