Subject: Extremely Disappointing Experience with Apple AirPods Second Generation and Bellevue Square Service Center

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration regarding the recent experience I had with my Apple AirPods Second Generation and the service provided at the Apple Bellevue Square Customer Service Center.


I purchased the AirPods on March 1st, 2023, and unfortunately, they stopped working after just a few months. Seeking assistance, I visited the Apple Bellevue Square Customer Service Center on November 6th, 2023, armed with my repair number R603496551. The diagnosis revealed microphone issues, and the proposed resolution was to replace the left AirPod along with the case.


After the replacement, I was advised to return home, charge the case, and reconnect it with my phone. To my dismay, upon following these instructions, I discovered that the replaced AirPod had the item number s7765z/a, which indicates that I received a first-generation AirPod instead of the second generation that I initially purchased. This is a significant error from a highly reputable service center, and I must admit that I did not expect such a mistake from Apple, a brand known for its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.


Adding to my frustration, the replacement AirPod is continuously blinking a yellow amber light, rendering it unusable. This has left me in a situation where the product I rely on daily is not functioning properly, and the inconvenience is further exacerbated by the fact that the Bellevue Square location is quite distant from my residence.


I feel deeply disappointed and somewhat deceived by this experience, as I had trusted Apple's reputation for delivering high-quality products and excellent customer service. I sincerely hope that this matter can be promptly addressed and resolved, as I am currently left with a defective product and a significant inconvenience due to the incorrect replacement.
