What if I don’t have a computer to restore backup?

You’ll need access to either a Windows PC (with iTunes for Windows installed) or a Mac (with iTunes or Finder - as appropriate for the installed version of macOS).

Use of a PC or Mac computer is unavoidable. If you don’t have access to a suitable computer of your own, that of a helpful friend or family member will suffice. Alternatively, the technicians at the Genius Bar of your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) will be delighted to assist.

If you have no Mac or Windows PC iPad backup, of your iPad, OR you do not backup your iPad to Apple iCloud, then you will never be able to restore any data on that iPad and that data will be lost forever.

The time to backup your iPad’s data to a Mac or Windows PC OR to Apple iCloud is before your iPad went into Restore mode, with the connect to conputer/iTunes/Finder cable icon.

It is now too late and the data on that iPad will never be able to be recovered, now.
