How to get verification code without having the phone anymore

I can’t get back into my email because I don’t have that number anymore that they’re trying to get the verification code from so can I change the number on the verification account

I can’t get verification code don’t have access to that phone So I’m trying to get in to my old Apple ID but it keeps having me get a verification code to a phone number don’t have anymore
