I have an iPhone 11. My cell signal and battery symbols flash black and white often. What is the hidden meaning behind that please?

Recently my husband’s and my cell phones cell signal and battery flash black and then White repeatedly. Sometimes that’s the only issue, other times the phones will also not dial and/or will have no internet service for a while even though the cell strength is 3 bars.


I can’t find the hidden codes for that anywhere. Any ideas from you guys as to why this happens?
