My Storage Settings is messing up.

On my M1 MacBook Air, I deleted a 46 GB video, for saving some storage, but after that when I checked back on the Settings app, the System storage took the storage up with the storage being the same before deleting the 12 hour video. And the video was a screen recording that I accidentally recorded.

I am relatively new to MacBook machines (MacBook Air M2, 8GB, 512GB) but don't like the fact that there appears to be no inbuilt disk cleaner ( I am not going to install a third party app) and I can't remove all those apps I don't need. Different Amount of Storage Left in My Macbook When I open the 'About this Mac', it shows that I still have around 70 GB left of free storage. However, when I open storage in system settings, it shows that i have exceeded my maximum storage with photos app taking up more than 300 GB Space. Which one is the correct information? And does photos app affect my storage greatly? I have a 13-inch 2018 Macbook Pro with 499,96 GB storage This one is from about this mac And this one is when I opened system settings

iMovie Storage My MacBook says that my disk is full. I was looking into it, and it told me that I have 60 GB of stuff in my iMovie library. I deleted everything (yes, two times) and now there is no video footage or pictures in my iMovie library. I still have 30 GB in my iMovie library. Why? How do I get rid of it?

This might be an error, and can be based on your use of Time Machine.
