AppleID login requested after every Sonoma software update

Hey y'all!

I have a question regarding macOS Sonoma and my Mac's behavior after software updates:

Following every software update (big or small) my Mac presents me with an AppleID login screen ("please login with your AppleID..." -- email is presented, password is required) after entering the Mac login password.

We updated a second Mac in our household today and after a restart there was only the login password we had to enter.

Any idea why every update causes my Mac to request an AppleID login again? Could this be a keychain issue? My other devices (iPhone and iPad) run totally fine never asking for AppleID logins (so I assume it's not an account issue).

My 15" MacBook Air runs on Sonoma 14.1.1. It's in use since august. The only installed apps are one from Logitech for my MX Master and the Blizzard Battlenet app.

I'd really appreciate your help!

Thanks

Henry
