Remove "calendar administrator"

I somehow ended up with five entries (two different types ... ?) for my birthday in the Calendar on my 2019 iMac (Sonoma 14.1.1), so I wanted to remove the repeats, but it tells me I cannot because only the Calendar Administrator can do it. This is MY computer — I have no other administrator. How do I address this? I see someone else asked the same question four years ago, and it was left unresolved.

Calendar events can be sourced from many origins: what you enter yourself on the Mac/iPhone/iPad (birthdays are actually fetched from Contacts), and what comes through other accounts such as Google, Yahoo!, MS Exchange, etc.

So if you have many such accounts and each contains your birthday, you'll see all these events separately and it may be necessary to visit these sources online to find out why your birthday cannot be removed.

For stubborn events, a trick you can try is to create a disposable calendar, move the event into it, and delete the calendar.
