Freeform: No keyboard shortcut or right click context menu to quickly add an object to a board?

Seriously? I tried double-clicking on a freeform board... NOTHING! I tried to right click to bring up a context menu… no option for adding an object to the board at the click location! I looked for a preferences or settings area for freeform. Nothing! Looks like every time I want to add an object to board I have go to the top of the board and click on an icon from the object menu. Wow. Nuts. Apple has lost its way. Apple has become a giant ghost ship adrift without a captain or any sort of purpose or well defined agenda or mission. This freeform app feels for all the world like a product acquired from a third party or contracted from some executive's nephew.

PS: No outline view? No filtered object query? No way to save searches? No back linking? No history browser? No timeline view? No list view? No semantic weighting view? No discovery mode? No integration with pages, numbers, keynote, contacts, calendar, reminders, notes??? No way to construct and save forms or templates? No shared objects that auto-propagate edits across boards? No semantic object typing based on previous content within and without the current board? No way to assign meta-data (time/date/event, geo location/relative location, people, context, project, document, author/team/lead, goal/objective/reason, hashtags, author notes, references, citations, revision history, progress/status, custom meta-data), no master board? no board hierarchy? no project/task assignment?

I really don't know how all of the things you want would work in iOS. Making things work fluently on a computer is so passé.

You can create custom shortcuts for items in the Menus. In the Keyboard Shortcuts System Settings select App Shortcuts and add the shortcuts you want. For instance, to insert a Rectangle, enter "Rectangle" in the Menu Title field and choose a shortcut like cmd-opt-R.

You'll have to contact Apple about the rest of your wish list.
