Pages Fonts after sonoma update

Sonoma upgrade was a huge downgrade for Pages. Certain fonts not working.

I've tried deleting them from Font Book and reloading them, restarting, etc...

There are no suggestions in the app itself.

Pages has dropped a font I use a lot! We are talking Garamond. Last time I used it was November 2023. It was among the fonts that were "just there" when I set up Pages on my new Mac in 2021. This afternoon I found my way to All Fonts in the Font Book; I was shown 327 fonts, but NO Garamond. I hope someone can provide an explanation and a solution. I'm a home user who does some local newsletters, and hope to avoid the world of fonts intended for professional graphic designers. Thank you. MacBook Air, M1 2020, Mac OS Ventura 13.4.1

Garbled fonts on Safari webpages in Sonoma Since upgrading to Sonoma some web pages on Safari are displaying garbled text. It looks like a font-loading problem...?

Please give specifics on which fonts are not working.

if you cant see them, try looking in format / font / show fonts / all fonts
