UVFSService & mds causing constant 28+W power consumption! (Easy solutions I found do not work)

Ok so I have this i9 MacBook Pro that's basically maxed out from 2019. I have bootcamp with Windows 10 on it, and the MacOS partition is Monterey 12.7.1, and I will not update past Monterey, as I despise a few of the design decisions that Apple made, like the settings app redesign.

Since... about 1-2 months ago or so, every time I take this MacBook Pro off of Low Power Mode, the CPU will CONSTANTLY use 28W or more, on battery or with power adapter connected. I've tried a few solutions I found on Reddit/Apple Forums here, and none of them did anything except one of them made it so that the thing that uses the CPU a lot is something mds related, not UVFS, but either way same result, and UVFSService is still running as well. I've tried excluding BOOTCAMP via privacy settings in settings for spotlight, and this did absolutely nothing. I tried doing a command in Terminal to disable indexing altogether, and that's what switched whatever is doing this to using most of the CPU with mds, either way still 28+W usage on just the CPU because of it, even with nothing running. It could, and HAS, run at 200F degrees while sitting completely IDLE. That.. is just stupid.

This makes this MacBook basically unusable when not on low power mode, which I could live with, but it's not worth the $5,000 this laptop costed in 2019. Also this laptop JUST ran out of it's warranty period, so that's not an option, I'm sure it's software-related anyway.

Anyone have any other potential fixes that I haven't discussed in this?

Also yes I realize that the device it shows at the bottom says it's on 12.6, that's a lie, idk why tf it says that. Probably has something to do with the fact that I have 3 UltrayummyBlades that I could select and ALL of them were this machine which makes no sense.

Give this a try: boot into Safe Mode according to How to use safe mode on your Mac and test to see if the problem persists. Reboot normally and test again.

NOTE 1: Safe Mode boot can take up to 3 - 5 minutes as it's doing the following;

• Verifies your startup disk and attempts to repair directory issues, if needed

• Loads only required kernel extensions (prevents 3rd party kernel/extensions from loading)

• Prevents Startup Items and Login Items from opening automatically

• Disables user-installed fonts

• Deletes font caches, kernel cache, and other system cache files

NOTE 2: if you have a wireless keyboard with rechargeable batteries connect it with its charging cable before booting into Safe Mode. This makes it act as a wired keyboard as will insure a successful boot into Safe Mode.

Also have you installed and run any "cleaning", "optimizing", "speed-up", anti-virus or VPN apps on your Mac?
