Wired Earphones not working on LEFT side

it could be

dirt or lint in the ios devices port when that happen to me I clear it out with a match or toothpick

Or a hardware defect with the iOS devices connector

(I believe it's the left side) but have same problem - very common with BEATS SOLO .. You have to take apart the left side (?) earpiece VERY CAREFULLY .. Many people wrote in to "you tube" to find the fix - the wire that connects the ear piece to the the rest of the headphones (I believe it's white) comes unsoldered and that's why you can't hear any sound .. You may or may not have to order new headphone covers because there is sticky tape that holds the first piece on - also when you get to the second layer "under a sticker is a screw, so don't forget to take that screw out"!

My problem is that I lost the paperwork on my head phones and can't figure out if they are "BEATS SOLO 1 or 2" - going to attempt to fix mine as soon as I find out which set of "new covers I need" .. Good Luck!

that would mean that it was a general issue with no ios devices playing out of left headset without their Q&A department noticed that during the testing and non of the beta testers reporting the issue, and all users save you haven't noticed or just have chosen not to write about it in these forums.

to tell you the truth it seems a lot more plausible that metal fatigue gotten the better of the wire to your left ear plug or that the connector gone bad.

I have the exact same issue with three of my earphones (Vivo TWS 2e, 2 others). Tried on multiple iPhones - iPhone15, 14 and 10 but same result. Only the right side works…using iOS 17.2.1…problem started a few weeks after iOS17 was installed. Any help would be appreciated.
