Time Machine did not back up because the computer was running on battery power.

Exact message is "Time Machine did not back up because the computer was running on battery power. Connect your Mac to a power source while your backup disk is available."

The problem is this is a M2 Mac mini, and not on a UPS.

The backup destination is a local attached drive visible on the desktop.
