Hidden Files not hidden when restarting (MacBook Air 15-inch, M2, 2023)

From your Terminal.app you can turn off hidden files independent of the key board shortcut, copy and paste:

defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles NO; killall Finder

See if that makes the option stick on reboot. Report back your success or failure.

Yes this worked. I restarted it to see if the problem persisted (as I used shortcuts to turn off), then I did as you suggested, restarted and fixed. I restarted 2 more times just to check. FIXED. Thank you very much.
