Google maps zoom out error on my iPhone 15 Pro Max

Please note that I have just acquired my new iPhone 15 Pro Max and I have been a little bit disappointed in the fact that whenever I try to zoom in and out on Google maps by using my index finger and thumb as I’ve always done so, the map shakes and trembles like an earthquake Due to the force of the zoom out. What’s surprising is that this has only occurred to me in my iPhone while I also alternatively use an android Samsung phone and Google maps work perfectly fine with a perfect and smooth zooming in and out. I’ve never encountered this shakiness in my android phone. I have reinstalled the app and even hard reset my iPhone, but the same problem reoccurs.
