Based on the Apple Shopping Event page, it sounds like the gift card promotion is only for the MacBook Air and the Mac mini.

Those two lines are still using M2-family (and in the case of the Air, sometimes even M1-family) chips.

The best savings I've seen on iMacs are at bhphotovideo.com.

And just a reminder. There are savings available directly from Apple if you're a military veteran or a student.
