How do I cancel AppleCare on a device that I just turned in for a new phone?

I just recently upgraded my phone and forgot to cancel the apple care on that device. How can I do this when I no longer have that phone.

Did you pay upfront or in monthly installments? If paid upfront you can cancel it with the following information:

* The AppleCare agreement number. Sign in to MySupport to look up your agreement number.
* The serial number of the device that the plan covers. Learn how to find the serial number.
* Your original sales receipt.

The information should also be able to be found in the confirmation email when you bought it. Then, you can Contact Apple Support to cancel the plan.
