Can't delete software

Hello,


Yesterday I downloaded software and I want to delete it. I can see it in disc utilities but not in Finder. so I can't delete it.


Can Someone help?

Any app installed will normally be stored in the Applications folder. From there it can be dragged into the Trash and deleted. Some apps are better deleted by using the app provider's uninstaller app to completely remove all of it. How did you remove it and what was the app?

The screenshot you posted appears to be a portion of System Information... > Software > Installations. Is that correct?


If so you are examining a record of everything that was ever installed on that Mac. It will remain in that record even after you uninstall it.


Are you still certain that software remains on that Mac? If so, how were you able to make that determination?
