All of my contacts have suddenly disappeared.
I can't find them on the Time Machine and I don't use ICloud. Is there a way that I can get them back? I am running the current version of Monterey on my Imac
iMac 27″, macOS 12.7

See if you can navivigate to...
~/Library/Application Support/AddressBook/Sources
Then Enter Time Machine...
~ tilde indicates your user library folder
Apple hid the Users' Library folders...
Method 1:
There were 2 files in the sources folder. I restored both of them using the Time Machine. It said that both of the files were already there. I elected to replace both of them, and that went well. However, when I go to contacts in the launch pad, no contacts are shown???
How far back in time did you go? To before the contacts went missing?
I certainly had more than two items in that folder:
And I get about the same number when I go back in time in Time Machine.
Tried that, but it didn't work....
What happened?
Where did it fail?
Did you have Contacts Quit when replacing the files?
