Just transferred my data from my old phone and my apps are not downloading they are just ‘waiting’. Tried to delete some but still nothing happening
Did you check Low Power mode (the battery icon will be yellow)?

Go to Settings/General/VPN & Device Management/VPN. Do you see a profile? If you do, tap on it and remove it.
So think it’s moving now! I did two things: powered off and back on, and searched beyond the “VPN not connected”to find way to remove it altogether. Type in vpn at settings search to see what is there and delete it

I took a photo and it recognized the apps I was trying to download then I did a billing address and then it worked I just needed to make a billing method
Make sure the phone is charged to at least 50%, is plugged in, and the phone is not in Low Power mode.

You must have a valid payment method in your account, even for free apps.
I would suggest looking under the cellular section in settings and see if you have a choice for 5g on versus 5g auto. If you do, select 5g on.

I would strongly advise AGAINST this advice. 5G Auto will use 5G if it is faster than 4G, and will use 4G/LTE otherwise. 5G ON will always use 5G, even if 4G/LTE would be faster.
Probably is a slow connection, sometimes it takes a while to complete
What steps are you following to download apps, and what happens that prevents downloading?
Are you using VPN?
Trying to install streaming apps it processes as if it's going to install but does not ...says payment processing (though apps are free) cycles through then when it would typically have the circle showing download progress it defaults to the green GET button without downloading this is happening across multiple apps
Hi, I am still having this same issue.
When I try to download an app, it asks me to double click to install; says processing payment, but then returns to " get" (app is not installed).
I have checked all the suggested options below - VPN not installed, I have a payment method & address associated with my apple account; battery is at 80%; I have tried with & without wi-fi....even tried switching the phone off & back on again to no avail!
Can anyone suggest what might be stopping the apps downloading?
