Preview does not work post the Ventura update says "Preview Quit Unexpectedly"

Recently I updated macOS Ventura to 13.6. Since then Preview does not work. When I try to open it, an error message appears: "Preview Quit Unexpectedly".

With the Preview Application completely Closed

Hold the SHIFT key and click on the Preview icon from Applications folder

This is a Safe Launch of the Application

Still issues with Preview ?

1 - Restart in Safe Mode. This will perform a Disk Repair, clear cache files and only load Apple Software, extensions and fonts. The boot up will be slow and can take some time - Normal.

2 - Safe Mode will also eliminate Third Party Software, extensions and drivers from loading. It will only load the Minimum amount of Core Apple Processes to allow the the computer to function at a reduced Level of Performance

3 - Does the issue present in this mode ?

4 - Sometimes a Safe Boot followed by a Normal Boot will just put things right.

Latest Ventura is 13.6.1 for Intel computer and 13.6.2 for Apple silicon computers.

Etrecheck

To avoid the question / answer and question answer scenario

Download the Application Etrecheck directly from the Developer.

The Application is Not a " Silver Bullet " but only a tool to examine the Hardware / Software used on this computer

This is a Diagnostic Tool that makes no changes to the computer.

It makes a coherent and readable inventory of both the Hardware and Software used on the computer

The application is free or paid for added features.

The Report will Not Reveal Any Personal Information.

Interesting to say the least

Have 2 computer that started with macS 11 Bug Sur and upgraded to macOS 12 Monterey, to macOS 13 Ventura and now on macOS 14.1.1. Sonoma - No issues with Preview

On the Other 2 computer that started with macOS 13 Ventura and upgraded to Sonoma 14.1.1. - No Issues with Sonoma

Though, I do not use Third Party Security Software, Third Party Disk Cleaner / Optimizer, Third Party VPNs nor Third Party Memory Managers either

Go figure
