Installing a new MacBook Air with Sonoma 14.1.1 we seem to have lost the function in the scanner dialog box that allows you to merge several scans on one page, the line that allowed that before on an earlier machine is no longer available
I have solved it. The difference is when you scan to JPEG or to pdf. The latter restores the dialog box as is logical

when I click on my printer now, the scanner window appears.
HP must have just installed a new driver.
