The app needs at least iOS14 on the iPad to run. So your iPad needs to be running that version or higher, otherwise you will not be able to reinstall it. Assuming that this is not an issue then your music library will be safe as that is presumably tied to your Amazon account.


You could also try the less drastic step of bringing up the recently used app screen (double press home button or swipe gently up from bottom of screen if you have no home button), then swipe up on the Amazon app, and then relaunch it.
