Volume button not showing up on task bar - STILL!

I've completed all updates. I've restarted. I've unchecked and then rechecked 'volume shows up in task bar always'. Shut down and restarted. Nothing. I've Safe Booted. Nothing. I still have no volume button showing up in task bar . The computer is 2022 macbook pro M2, running Ventura 13.6.1. I followed all the directions in the correction advice from the previous 'community expert'. NOTHING. Please! I want my task bar to start working again.

All I get is the search or enter address search bar icons. I don't get emoji in that bar either!!! This is very frustrating. My task bar isn't working and nothing in the community has helped! Seems I must take a few hours to wait on a phone call for a techie to tell me they've never heard of this before. Or say "Oh I'm really sorry." I paid a lot of money for this computer. It's only 1 year old-ish, and my old computer worked better. Help!!!!!!

Do you mean Touch bar?

I've unchecked and then rechecked 'volume shows up in task bar always'.

There is no setting that I am aware like this - and there is no "task bar", anyway.

In order for others to help, you need to clarify what exactly you are doing.

If possible, post screenshots of where you changed your settings.

I am guessing that you need to go to System Settings->Keyboard and click on "Touch Bar Settings".
