Viewing SD card pictures

Having trouble viewing pictures from my SD card (trail camera) in full screen. I am able to view the pictures one at a time but I want to just open the pictures and scroll through them in full screen, using the arrows on the keyboard. I was able to do this a few times and have no idea how I did it and now I can't figure it out again. Im using a USB type C card reader that I got off amazon. My computer is up to date, and ive tried re-booting several times. No problem with the card reader or viewing pictures,i just want to be able too scroll through instead of viewing one at a time in full screen and then going back out and clicking on the next one to see it in full screen. I hope this makes sense.
