how do install iTunes on my Mac book pro

iTunes is no longer used.

• For syncing, you use the Finder
• For Music, you use the Music App
• For Books, you use the Books App
• For Movies and TV Shows, you use the Apple TV App.

iTunes is only available now for Windows computers.

Understood. Apple could have made that Support document abundantly clear by simply stating "... your iTunes media library is now available in the Apple Music app, Apple TV app, Apple Books app, and Apple Podcasts app" without mentioning Catalina.

It began with macOS Catalina, which was superseded years ago.
