I Mac quick actions tab not working

The quick actions tab on Finder doesn't show any actions available just "customise". When you enter the customise functions to then add the functions it makes no difference. The quick actions tab back in the finder function remains unpopulated and just shows the "customise" tab.

By quick actions "tab", I suppose you mean in the contextual menu, that you access via right-click (or control-click), like this:

What appears there depends on:

a) your selection (for different actions are available for, say, a folder, vs a pdf file)

b) the quick actions or shortcuts that are installed

What are you selecting when you see this as empty?

Did you create or install any Shortcuts' shortcuts or Automator' Quick Actions?
