Stuck on Internet Recovery

Is anyone else having the same issue? And is there a solution? I’m wondering if it’s a software issue will Apple replace my MacBook free of charge or at I screwed?

I have a MacBook Pro, I’ve only owed it for 2 years. I turned on my laptop a few days ago and it’s on some “internet recovery” mode. I tried to power off my MacBook and see if it would restart to my login options, but when ever I power off my MacBook immediately turns back on without being prompted… I checked to see if all the keys were working as I saw in a YouTube video that might be the cause but they all work fine… when I try to move the curser it’s delayed. When I first tried to enter my internet password it would load then go to an error, now when I enter it it just loads forever no charge. This is the first laptop I have ever bought for myself and I’m really hoping there’s a quick and easy fix for this as there is no way I could afford another MacBook. I’ve tried all the commands that people have suggested (that I could find online)

Pleaseeee help!

What is the exact model? Since the laptop is not booting, you can get the exact model by entering the system serial number here:

Check Your Service and Support Coverage - Apple Support

Do you recall the version of macOS which was installed on this laptop?

Do you have access to another Mac from a friend, family member, or co-worker?

If the laptop detects a problem with macOS, then it may try booting into Recovery Mode or to the Options boot menu. It really helps to have the exact error messages involved....taking a picture is an easy option (just make sure the pictures are oriented correctly when posting them here using the Image Insertion tool which has an icon which looks like a picture (2nd from right on the forum editing toolbar).

To power off an Apple Silicon laptop requires you to hold the power button for 10 seconds. If the laptop is booted to any screen, try pressing the Caps Lock key to see if its LED will light up....so when you hold the power button you will know the laptop is completely powered off when the Caps Lock LED goes out. Unfortunately the Caps Lock LED will only light if the laptop is booted into some mode, but it is worth a try since it makes it so much easier to know when the laptop is most likely powered off. Also, remember that pressing any key, or even the Trackpad can cause the laptop to power on. Even connecting the power supply will power on the laptop and sometimes even disconnecting it will as well. Plus opening the lid will power on the laptop. This becomes very important when you are trying to access recovery mode options by holding the power button down so it will load the "startup options".

Are you given the chance to authenticate with an admin user account when booting into recovery mode?

Make sure to disconnect all external devices in case one of them is causing a problem.

See if you can run the Apple Diagnostics.

FYI, here is an Apple article for the various boot screens you may encounter:

Unfortunately it is very hard to troubleshoot these Apple Silicon Macs since there is very little feedback from the laptops on what is occurring. You may actually need to have Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider examine your laptop to assist you since I can tell you from personal experience of supporting my organization's Apple Silicon Macs, that it is not easy to troubleshoot them even with years of experience and seeing everything first hand. Every little detail may be important as are the exact error messages and exactly when they are encountered.
