Searching shows on Apple tv

I’m trying to watch the affair on Apple TV on my television but when I search it doesn’t appear. Why is this?

Watching Apple TV on my television I’ve just noticed that not all Apple TV programmes that are available on my iPhone are available on my tv. I was just looking for a show on my phone and purchased it on my iPhone Apple app. When I went to watch it later in my tv it isn’t there and when I search it says programme unavailable. I’ve searched for other shows that I know are available on my iPhone and they’re not on the tv app either. Can anyone advise? I’ve purchased a series that I now can only watch on my iPhone 12!

Apple TV vs Apple TV App I search for a show on my Apple TV device attached to one TV and I find the show. I search for the same show on the Apple TV app on my Samsung TV and the show is not found. Is there different content on Apple TV than on the Apple TV app?

The TV show of that name ran from 2014–2019, and was brought by Showtime.
