Teaching wirelessly with an iPad

I am a high school teacher and am seriously thinking about getting an iPad to help me teach. I want to use slides I created from PowerPoint and project them wirelessly to a projector so I can walk among my students and teach at the same time. Ideally, I would be able to control the slides from my iPad and also have my teaching notes in it too while at the same time monitor the class. Is there a way to do that?

AirPlay PDF or static object from iPad to TV for extended display Is there any way or any app to cast/extend (Not mirror) a static reference object such as a PDF, to an external TV/monitor via Airplay (or bluetooth, HDMI etc) ? I want to cast a research paper PDF onto my TV as visual reference and perform handwritten derivations on my Ipad using my pencil. I am aware we can Airplay video and pictures (and even slides in Keynote) in an extended display format, but I am unable to cast a PDF or a webpage etc onto my TV. (To reiterate, I am Not referring to mirroring, since then I can't do any Apple pencil calculations on the Ipad simultaneously. I believe this use case is unique to the Ipad and and its pencil setup, so I am curious if this feature is unavailable and why. Present slideshow without taking over second screen? This has been an issue for years and years, and I'm just wondering if it has been fixed or if Apple has decided to send those of us who need it to Powerpoint/Google Slides? To be unable to control live streams, audio, check other apps, chat etc. while presenting makes Keynote pretty much useless in a lot of scenarios as you have to stop the presentation to do... well, anything at all. In previous discussions it has been claimed that Powerpoint does the same. It does not. Powerpoint allows usage of second screen. It has also been mentioned to use a secondary device, like an iPad. This is also not a satisfactory solution, as it in live on stage scenarios it would require video input from one device and audio input from another, which is not always possible in preinstalled stage solutions, or would require carrying a third sort of mixer/switch device, which is, again, not a realistic solution (just using Powerpoint would save us from carrying two to three devices, not to mention the cost).
