How do I see text edit on my iPhone?

I typed a to-do list on my MacBook Pro and it said it saved it in iCloud. How do I see it on my iPhone that I can carry around the house to refer to?

iPhone XS Max, iOS 16

Sorry. I forgot to say it was Text Edit. I found an old question on the Forum that was the same as mine. It was in Files on my phone, which held a folder named Text Edit. But I can’t check things off. So I would be better off with a list in Reminders.

Hello, jrpfromspencerport. Thank you for contacting Apple Communities.

If you made the list in the standard Apple Notes application, then just transfer the note to your iCloud account (press and hold on the note and drag it to any iCloud Folder). Or an alternative way, is to AirDrop it and then it should transfer over into the Notes app.
